Fat transfer, also known as fat grafting, involves harvesting fat from an area of the body with excess (e.g., abdomen, thighs) and reinjecting it into areas that need volume or contouring.
Because the fat is your own, the procedure is biocompatible, natural-looking, and carries a low risk of allergic reaction.

Results are long-lasting and can rejuvenate the face, smooth scars, enhance the buttocks or breasts, and even contour the nose.

Fat grafting is performed in three main steps:

1. Harvesting: Fat is gently removed from a donor site such as the thighs or abdomen using a fine cannula and local anaesthetic.

2. Purification: The fat is processed, either filtered or centrifuged, to remove impurities and prepare it for reinjection.

3. Placement: The purified fat is strategically injected in thin layers into the target area using fine needles or cannulas to achieve smooth, even results. The area may be massaged and dressed afterward.

The procedure is minimally invasive and leaves little to no visible scarring, with liposuction marks typically fading over time.
